I first began exploring the world of photography during my fresh

man year of high school. I soon then took a film class and fell in love again. I filmed my very first wedding video my senior year of high school and just like that — I was totally and completely hooked. My college career was quickly shaped and I dove into the world of visual communications fast and eager to learn. Nowadays, you can rarely find me without my camera. Every day I constantly push myself to become better and create the best. I hope that upon receiving their captured memories, an emotion like no other is brought to my clients. Our sweet Hadley turned 1 month yesterday!

She simply is the best and makes us giggle with her cute expressions, bright eyes, sleepy smiles, and curious stares. She loves the swing, but loves to be snuggled even more! She is a little heater — the warmer she is the happier! Travis has been a super helper and loves to get diapers for her, try to “soothe” her with a binky, rub lotion on her feet after bath time and occasionally feed her a bottle. He can’t quite say Hadley… it comes out as “Happy.” We call her “Happy Hadley” — so Travis calls her “Happy Happy” essentially. It’s the cutest thing I never want to forget.

Her big blue eyes are already making an appearance and we are obsessed! We love you Hadders! 💗

Even though this little gal gave us multiple false alarms in the last two weeks (contracting and dilating and all), her actual entrance into this world was quite a fast one! After only 4 hours of active laboring and 3 pushes, she introduced her sweet self with quite the set of lungs. She measured exactly the same weight as her older brother did when he was born! We are completely smitten and are so thrilled she is finally here 💗🎀

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

We have had quite the eventful year, but so much of which to be grateful. We have been in our new home a little over a month now and we are so grateful for the space, to be done moving (3 moves since April), and that we were able to get into our home before our newest addition arrives. Baby Sister will be here in just 2 short months and we are thrilled for her to join our party! Travis has been gearing up to teach her all sorts of things. 🤪😉

We are so grateful for the gift of our Savior, particularly this time of year. The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed our lives in ways that are hard to describe. He brings us peace in times of struggle and trial, and joy in knowing that we can spend eternity as a family because of Him.

Wishing you all peace and joy this Christmas season! Here’s to a happy and healthy new year ahead! 🎄🎅🏼❤️

As we were driving home from Danielle and Nick’s wedding on Friday night, I told Cody that their love story is literally like something out of a movie. These two have been friends since they were in the fourth grade. They attended the same high schools and even switched to different schools around the same time as each other, always ending up at the same school. They’ve sought each other‘s advice on past relationships and finally admitted their feelings for each other about five years ago. It really is the story of the good guy getting the darling girl next door. I’ve never seen so many giddy smiles at a wedding before. It genuinely was the happiest day.

I am thrilled that it was our final wedding before maternity leave and I’m stoked to be able to share the sneak peek of their wedding video. Congratulations Danielle and Nick! Happy honeymooning 💕

Capturing families in their element in probably my most favorite part of doing family sessions. Yes, the perfectly posed ones of everyone smiling at the camera are great, but these candida the ones that I cherish being a mom myself.

One of my main goals during sessions is to get reactions. If ya find I’m chatting to your kiddos more than yourself as we walk to our session spot, it’s because I want them used to me and my camera so that when we start playing all sorts of funny games and digging in the sand, they don’t question the “weird lady behind the giant camera.” 😂 I want all of them, including yourself, to feel like YOURSELVES. I want to see how you interact so you can remember these family moments for years to come. That’s why I love these photos. These are the moments that will live rent free in your mind.

I’ve got two great spots locally that are filled with sand, perfect for digging for family sessions. So if you have got kiddos and want cute photos, let me know and we’ll get ya there ;)

Brittany & Geoff’s Flagstaff Snowbowl wedding was magical and we were in shock at the kind of sunset we got. Usually, Arizona desert sunsets are just straight golden with all these pretty orangish colors. When we snuck these two away for their sunset portraits near the ski lift, we were greeted with hues of purple and red along with the orange. It reminded Cody and myself of an Idaho Sunset!!!! Truly something you only get at this elevation. It was breathtaking.

🎀 SURPRISE!!! 🎀 Remember when we shared we were having another baby boy???? Welp. It turns out we’re not. 🤪

Story time! The first part of August, Cody and I order a Gender DNA test at the suggestion of our doctor to find out if 💙 or 💕. Our truly awesome doctor told us the test was ridiculously accurate. Even more so than an ultrasound. It was what he recommended to all his patients! We were stoked. We ordered the test. I took it, making sure to not contaminate it with any male DNA (it picks up on Y chromosomes to figure out the gender) and we sent it off! One week later, we got our results stating we were having another little boy! We were stoked! Another little dude!

Fast forward a month and a half later, we went in for my anatomy scan. The ultrasound technician asked us if we knew what were were having. “A boy!!” We exclaimed! She began her exam and had the cheeriest disposition. All of a sudden, we noticed her tone switch to smirks. Those dang technicians can spot everything! “So you said you’re having a boy, huh? …. Well, I’m going to tell ya right now… the DNA test was wrong… this is actually a BABY GIRL!” We both shouted in shock!! I could not stop laughing. We were the talk of the office that day and our doctor said we are only one of three patients that has ever gotten a wrong DNA test result.

We are so excited to welcome 🎀 BABY GIRL 🎀 in February 2022. 💕
