Stepping into the role of a second shooter for the very first time was such an exciting experience for me. Huge thank you to Marilyn Guzman for trusting me to help capture such a special celebration for Ivan’s birthday party! 📸🎉

Being behind the scenes, capturing candid moments, details, laughter, and memories from a different perspective taught me so much. It pushed me creatively and gave me a deeper appreciation for teamwork in photography. Every smile, every reaction, and every little moment mattered.

Ivan’s party was full of energy, love, and unforgettable memories, and I’m grateful I got to be part of it. Here’s to many more opportunities to grow, learn, and capture life’s special moments. 🙌✨

Watching my firstborn get ready for prom was completely different from photographing anyone else. As a photographer, I’m used to focusing on lighting, poses, and perfect shots — but this time, every click of the camera felt emotional.

One minute they were little, and the next they were standing in front of me dressed for one of the biggest nights of high school. Behind the lens, I noticed everything: the nervous smiles, the excitement, and just how grown up they suddenly looked.

The truth is, the photos I loved most weren’t the perfect ones. They were the candid moments — the laughter, the eye rolls, the blurry in-between shots that felt real.

Prom pictures aren’t just about documenting a dance. They’re about capturing a moment in time before life changes again. And photographing my firstborn reminded me that sometimes the most meaningful photos aren’t technically perfect — they simply hold the most heart.
