D + T’s wedding was one of those classic PNW days. the kind where you curse the weather and love it all at the same time.

The rain came and went all day, gave us a little break for their ceremony, and then, right at sunset, the sky absolutely exploded. Because of course it did.

But Destinee + Tirrell, they embraced every bit of it. They leaned into the day, loved each other hard, and made it completely theirs.

I’m so grateful Destinee trusted me to capture a day filled with so much intention, joy, and love.

Kinda chic to remember that the whole point was never perfection.

It was getting everyone you love in one place.

Being completely, wildly present.

Doing things your way.

Letting the rain come.

Dancing until your feet hurt.

Trusting the people you hired enough to stop thinking about what comes next.

And someday, having photographs that take you right back to all of it.

Rounding up the magazine posts has me in my feels.

Being asked to photograph a story inside the magazine was such an honor, but to have been asked to help shoot the cover? That was on a whole other level. I cannot thank enough for trusting me with such a monumental ask. To be apart of this year’s word, Philia. Love. The kind of love that makes the world a better place.

There are magazines you want to be apart of and then there are magazines that you NEED to be apart of. .magazine is that magazine. It was grown out of love and compassion for making the world a better place. Wanting to spread joy and happiness. Even if I don’t make it into another magazine (but hey, the world goes up from here!), then my life has been made.
