I love asking the kids who are excited and full of energy what they want to do. It really helps them feel like they are a true part of this and have a say - that it's not just "Stand here and smile perfectly" and it helps to reel in the ones that are maybe a little more interested in anything else but these photos.

So when it's each kiddos turn, I ask them what they want. They are a lot more open to gentle direction and looking genuinely happy in their photos.

I think he did such a great job of knowing what he wanted to do in his photos and his siblings followed his lead so beautifully 🤍

I've been a little MIA lately 🫣

Figured I should share something after a month long hiatus. My family has been hit with sickness left and right for the past two months. It feels like one big, two month long sickness. From pneumonia (twice) to the flu, two hospital admissions for my four year old, and too many sick days to count.

I'm still here, booking summer, and looking forward to warmer weather!
