Last night I got the opportunity to take maternity photos for Helena & Van, who happen to be one of me and Ben’s dearest friends.

Helena has lived at our house away from Van for over a year due to work and school obligations for both of them. In the middle of it all, they got the blessing of getting pregnant with their first child. And I got so lucky to witness that little bean grow everyday for the last 6 months.

Now that Helena is done with school, and Van is home from overseas, they’re finally going to live in their new Texas home together!

To Helena & Van, thank you so much for being such great friends. For all the WA memories, laughs, and being so good to us. Hopefully you’ll enjoy these photos forever and hang them all over your new home 🏡 ❤️

THATS A WRAP ON 2021!

All good things must come to an end. So now that my last wedding is done, I must thank everyone who was a part of my busiest and biggest year so far! With 32 weddings, 16 family sessions, 10 senior sessions, 5 maternity & 4 single portrait sessions, all I can say is I am ready for some well deserved R&R ✈️!!

2022 will bring more challenges, lessons and achievements but I know that everything will line up to bring me where I need to be. Next year will be slower due to other obligations and focuses. But it will be filled with just as much love and beautiful portraits.

Can’t wait to see you all in 2022 and show you all the edits I will be finishing up from this year! If you have an event in 2022 that you are interested in booking me for, I recommend visiting my site and booking now! The slots for my 2022 year are filling up and I am already booking 2023!

It feels so freaking good to be home! Let alone, take photos where I grew up. You guys won’t understand how much I’ve wanted to come back and shoot in Juneau. The lower PNW is gorgeous but I feel like nothing beats this place 💕

And look at this! Who else would have been down to jump in the salty AF Alaskan ocean at 8:30pm just for a photo? These two did and I’m so glad Eric didn’t back out 😂 I cannot wait to show you all the rest!

PSA ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

I wanted to let you all know that I will not be booking anymore weddings or portrait sessions from December 2021 until April 2022.

Reason being is I will be taking some well deserved personal time and traveling to Europe for a few months! And when I return to the States, I will be focusing my time on making sure I spend the rest of those days off catching up on time I lost this year with Ben while he was on deployment. Having our first year of marriage apart is difficult but we are excited to get back to normal life and start a family (hopefully🤞🏼).

I do however have 9 more openings for the remainder of this year and would love love love to work with those who are inquiring for the dates or still in need for a last minute booking.

2022 & 2023 are already getting booked so grab your spot before your wedding day is taken!

I can’t wait to celebrate with the remaining couples for this year and can’t wait to see who I get the opportunity to meet with next year!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Brooks ♥️

I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again and again. I absolutely LOVE when Juneau peeps choose me to photograph their weddings! It makes my job so much more meaningful.

Also this intimate ceremony was gorgeous. Seeing Justin and Lindsey say “I Do” in front of only their closest loved ones was 😍
