OMG babies expressions are just TOO adorable! Sometimes newborns will give you the stink eye, cross their eyes, or they look at you disapprovingly. The expressions portion of my newborn sessions is one of my favorites.

Funny enough, I get a little freaked out when a camera is facing me, too. But the secret I learned as a photographer isn't that only models look good on camera, but rather confidence does.
Most of us have to fake it. See, confidence doesn't come before you do the thing, it comes after. Doing things scared is what makes you brave. Have fun, let go of the idea of perfection, and trust that you have a photographer who can help you embrace your weird.
