Congratulations to Caroline, Jonathan & their sweet pup Gorgeous who made the most out of a rainy weekend, ducking outside for a few quick shots during a tiny lull in the soggy weather. Pup weddings are my favorite weddings. As always, Scott Farm Orchard and Scott Farm Weddings made every guest feel welcome, even the fuzzy ones.

One of my favorite fall traditions with one of my favorite families. Meeting up to document changes and growth from year to year is always a highlight but this year brought an extra special surprise. Can’t wait to meet the newest members once they’ve made their debut!

Every wedding is different and every couple is unique. I love to see the rings that different people choose because they often say so much about their style and personality. Michelle and Jeremy’s rings were super unique and absolutely stunning. I haven’t been this smitten with a groom’s ring in a while and I’m a little bit obsessed with Michelle’s green sapphire in this fantasy meets Vermont combo.

Side note - my first time working at the Shelly Baker Sawyer and I was blown away. From a photographer’s point of view this spot is an absolute dream. So many beautiful spots for photos on a relatively small footprint makes it easy to get a lot of great photos in a short amount of time. Thanks to the whole crew for your hospitality and for making the day amazing for both the guests and the vendors.

It makes my day when things go smoothly for the amazing couples I get to work with and they actually get to enjoy their day and all of the hard work they put into planning it. This day started with the all-star team of makeup and hair. Natalie, Christina and their crew were absolutely amazing. I LOVE working with makeup and hair artists who turn the volume up a notch on the natural beauty the bride and her crew are already working with instead of completely painting over it. Hannah and her posse looked stunning all day through steamy sunshine, relentless black flies, and even a sweaty dance party. Cheers to Boston & Destination Makeup Artist| Natalie Lelless for this gorgeous look and for having everyone ready on time (maybe even a little bit early) so that we had plenty of time for photos!

Over 20 years ago (yikes!) we hit the jackpot when we ended up on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with these amazing humans. No matter where we go or what we do we always find our way back to each other - this time thanks to Jefferson Litten and Brooke. Whether it is for a few days or a few hours, the world always feels a bit brighter after belly laughs, burritos, and a dip in the ocean with this crew.

In the 8 years Mike and I have lived in Putney, VT, today might have been my favorite day. In honor of the best snow we have gotten in ages, our neighbors Diny & Jim, Evie & Jeff, and Julie & Tim decided to rally a community ski day. Jim and Jeff laid miles of beautifully groomed track, Julie, Tim, Jeff and Evie set up warming stations, and everyone with a set of skis headed out to enjoy the perfect, crisp, bluebird conditions. I have never seen so many smiling, happy people out on the trails on one day and it reinforced my love and appreciation for this little community. We are so, so lucky to have such amazing, thoughtful, and motivated neighbors.
