A Thin Place to Encounter the Divine

2022 Aug 3rd
South Bass island community Vacation Bible Camp at the Townhall.. This is your theme is called Jerusalem Marketplace.. And we are learning many things about the way people lived at the time of Jesus. The program We are using invited us to make Besamim boxes and Fill them with sweet smelling spices. Pouring the finally ground spices seemed like a perfect activity for the outdoors.

Later in the morning we practiced Hebrew letters using clay tablets and feathers. Each participant had an opportunity to learn about the Hebrew alphabet and to write their name on the clay tablet using the Hebrew letters.

Thanks to all our great helpers today Who provided the extra hands we needed to share these activities and for kneeding dough in the marketplace bakery.
