Julia and Alex’s engagement session is another one I was so excited to get to photograph!

I worked with Julia years ago, and she quickly became one of my favorite people, so it was such an honor when she asked me to capture this season of their lives. This was my first time meeting Alex, but we instantly clicked. We spent the session laughing, catching up, and talking about all the exciting things ahead as they start building their life together after the wedding.

I’ve said it before, but I truly love working with young couples. Maybe it’s because my husband and I were high school sweethearts ourselves, but I have such a soft spot for these couples who are just beginning their forever together. There’s something so special about getting to witness and document these first chapters of their story.

I was so excited when Trinity asked me to capture her wedding day! I’ve known her since she was a young teenager, and for years she helped me with my reindeer sessions. It’s hard to believe it’s already been a couple years since I photographed their engagement session, so I couldn’t wait to see her as a bride!

When she told me they were getting married at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort, I knew it was going to be beautiful. Even though it rained most of the day (which is good luck, you know 😉), and we didn’t get to take advantage of the gorgeous gardens, the resort itself provided no shortage of stunning backdrops. From the beautiful architecture to the covered porches, there were so many perfect spots for photos.

Trinity looked like a real life princess in her gown, and the biggest surprise of the day came at the end of their ceremony when they announced that this was actually a celebration of one whole year of marriage! What a fun way to celebrate their love story—surrounded by family and friends and dancing the night away.

Congratulations, Trinity and Darius! Thank you for trusting me to capture such a special day. ❤️

I knew I was going to have a hard time choosing favorites from this session, but wow... Lexie and Blake made it impossible! 😍

I was so excited to finally get these two in front of my camera for their engagement session. I will always have a soft spot for the high school sweethearts and the young couples growing through life's milestones together. Watching them build a life side by side and capturing those moments along the way is such a privilege.

These two are stepping into such an exciting new chapter, and if this session is any indication, it's going to be a beautiful one. ❤️

Here's to the next adventure, Lexie and Blake. I absolutely cannot wait to capture it!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mamas out there 🤍

And an extra special Happy Mother’s Day to this sweet mama celebrating her very first one. There’s just something so special to me about capturing moments like these.

So often moms are the ones behind the camera — running the show, planning the memories, taking the photos, making sure everyone else is taken care of — that getting photos WITH their babies has to become an intentional thing.

These photos may be posed, but how many times has she tickled those tiny toes, spun her around, held her up high, or cradled the back of her head in that exact same way? That’s what I love most about sessions like this. They freeze the little everyday moments that feel so ordinary while we’re living them… until suddenly they’re the moments we miss the most.

Mother’s Day only comes once a year, but these moments are forever. And I will always, always be down for a mommy & me session. Don’t let these days pass by without stepping in front of the camera too ❤️

I am absolutely SCREAMING inside at how perfect this whole session was 😭🌿

Mindy’s dress was absolutely perfect for their spring engagement session. She requested a greenhouse session, which somehow I’ve never done before, but OMG now I totally get the hype because I am obsessed. 😍

I love getting to capture those quick little looks and authentic laughs in between poses, and these two made my job way too easy. I seriously could not narrow down my favorites to share because every image is just so good 🥹

Three already?! 🚜💙

Sully celebrated turning THREE in the most perfect little boy way — outside in the dirt, riding his tractor, and loving every second of it! From throwing rocks in the pond to that bubble gun bringing all the smiles, this session was full of personality and all the little things that make this age so much fun.

There’s just something so special about capturing kids exactly as they are in this season — messy, playful, curious, and completely themselves. Happy 3rd birthday, Sully! 🎉🫧
