🚨 I’M JOINING SONS OF LEGION ON THE ROAD!

With three weeks remaining on the U.S. tour, I’ll be joining Sons of Legion from Washington, D.C., to Salt Lake City—capturing the music, the energy and the Legion showing up in force.

🔥 THE UNOFFICIAL “SHOW YOUR SØL” CHALLENGE 🔥

Wear your Sons of Legion merch. Bring the energy. Watch for me with the cameras and show your SØL off. We want to capture you in photos, videos and behind-the-scenes content from the road.

Shirts. Hats. Hoodies. Signs. Tattoos. Full battle dress. If it represents the Legion, we want to see it.

📣 Help us spread the word: Share this post, tag your friends and send it to anyone you believe has SØL to share.

Don’t just attend the show—become part of the story.

See you out there. Cameras are ready.
Now show us your SØL. ⚡📸🎥

Qaqortoq, Greenland 🇬🇱

What an incredible little corner of the world. Colorful homes scattered across a rugged Arctic landscape, mountains rising behind the town, and that unmistakable feeling that you are somewhere truly different.

Qaqortoq has a quiet charm to it. It isn’t flashy. It doesn’t need to be. The scenery does all the talking.

These are a few moments from our time there — a place that somehow feels both remote and welcoming at the same time.

Greenland continues to impress at every stop.

Yesterday, Greenland gave us one of those rare days when the landscape seemed almost too large to photograph.

Sailing through Prins Christian Sund, the Valiant Lady passed beneath immense granite walls, glaciers, waterfalls, snow-covered peaks, and ice scattered across water so still it often seemed carved from stone. This narrow passage through southern Greenland is surrounded by mountains rising thousands of feet above the sea—a landscape built for light, shadow, texture, and scale.

For these seven photographs, I stepped away from color and leaned heavily into an Ansel Adams–inspired approach: deep blacks, brilliant highlights, strong contrast, and the belief that the landscape itself should do most of the talking.

Black and white strips away the distraction.

No blue water.
No green mountainsides.
No colorful ship in the distance.

Just ice. Rock. Water. Light.

And Greenland.

There are places you visit and photograph.

Then there are places that make you understand why people spend their lives carrying cameras into the wilderness.

Prins Christian Sund was one of those places.

⚓ The new Fouled Anchor Photography website is officially live.

This has been more than just building a website. It’s been about creating a home for the work I love—capturing the energy of live music, the personality behind a portrait, and the moments that deserve more than a quick phone snapshot.

Fouled Anchor Photography is now booking:

📸 Concert and live-event photography
🎤 Musician and artist portraits
🎬 Photos and some video content
👤 Professional and creative portrait sessions
📦 Product and promotional photography

Take a look around, check out the portfolio, and reach out when you’re ready to create something worth remembering.

And if you know an artist, band, business, or individual looking for photography that feels real—not stiff, staged, or forgettable—send them my way.

The anchor may be fouled, but the vision is clear.

Every time SØL steps onto a stage, it’s more than a performance.

It’s long hours on the road. It’s late nights and early mornings. It’s every note played with purpose and every lyric sung from a place that’s real.

What makes SØL special isn’t just the music. It’s the connection. The handshakes after the show. The conversations at the merch table. The smiles, stories, and moments shared with the people who make this journey possible.

The band leaves a little piece of themselves on every stage they play because they know the fans bring something just as important in return.

Music is at its best when it brings people together, and SØL shows up every day committed to doing exactly that.

Thank you to every fan who sings along, travels to a show, shares a song, wears a shirt, or simply takes a moment to listen. You are the reason these songs matter.

Heart. Soul. Gratitude.

That’s SØL.

Daddy Jack doing Daddy Jack things.

From the shadows to the spotlight, from the grin to the grit, this is what live music is supposed to feel like. No posing. No pretending. Just sweat, strings, stage smoke, and a man absolutely owning the room.

Smoke, steel, cymbals, and stage lights.

Reagan Kretz holding down the heartbeat for Sons Of Legion at Buckhead Theatre. There’s something about catching a drummer in the middle of the chaos that tells the whole story: the lights are cutting through the haze, the room is moving, and the groove is doing the heavy lifting.

This one felt like the engine room of the night.
