I was checking our Google profile the way I'd walk a listing before a shoot. Then I found an empty room.

Photos, hours, services, reviews. All familiar. But there was a section I'd kept scrolling past: Posts.

We already had the photos and the stories. We just weren't putting them where someone searching for us could read them.

If you're a real estate agent, start with one listing photo this week. Name the neighborhood, say what makes the home worth a look, and add it to your Google Business Profile. One useful post a week is a good place to start.

I wrote up the story in “Google’s Hidden Room,” with a copy-paste prompt you can use for your next listing:

The weeks we worked the hardest were the weeks we could see our own numbers the least.

Every Monday, Bell turns the previous week's shoots into invoices. When the calendar got especially full, that work could spill into the next week. The work was getting done, but seeing where we stood took longer.

That's part of why we brought Rahma onto our AI team. She helps keep the numbers in view. Bell still reviews and sends every invoice.

One thing Rahma reminded me: a full calendar isn't a growth chart. Take a small, regular look at the facts and ask, "What needs our attention?"

This week's Elevated Edge introduces Rahma and her 10-minute monthly money check. If you've ever wondered whether being busy meant you were getting ahead, this one's worth a read.

His beak was inches from my iPhone. Then he opened his mouth.

I'd come to photograph a listing in North Port Estates. The seller mentioned he had turtles. I pictured something you could hold in two hands.

I was off by about a hundred pounds.

Out back were two sulcata tortoises, and one had decided my close-up looked a lot like lunch. The owner knew exactly what was happening.

The useful part for your next listing? Ask the seller what they'll miss most. A detail about the yard or how they've used it can give you something to write that no other house on the street can claim.

That whole afternoon started with one extra question.

The story's here:

The AC is out. The company on your fridge magnet sends you to voicemail. Do you wait, or call the next one?

Your seller has that same decision to make when they reach out to an agent.

Between showings, you don't need to write the perfect reply from scratch. Save a short first reply as a text shortcut on your phone. Let them know you got their message, give a real time window for the next step, and ask one easy question.

That's something you can set up tonight and use from the next parking lot.

In “We’ll Get You on the Next One,” I walk through the gap between an inquiry and an answer, what we're building around it, and a few practical ways to close it in your own business.

Jennifer wrote a whole paragraph. A quick “thanks for the review” wouldn't have answered it.

She noticed the thought behind each photo, Bell's finishing touches, and that she could count on us when she needed us.

Steph, our AI follow-up assistant, read every word and drafted a reply that answered what Jennifer actually said. Bell reviewed it and approved with one tap.

That's the question worth asking before your next client reply: would this person recognize their own experience in your answer?

And if a past client has gone quiet, start with one true thing you remember about them. People should feel remembered, not pursued.

Meet Steph in this week's Elevated Edge:

I had a storm coming and a little white puppy sitting in the one shot I needed.

I was filming a living room in Deep Creek. He'd met me at the front door and followed me through every room. Now he was right in the middle of my listing video, looking straight at me.

So I called him over. Gimbal in my right hand, puppy under my left. As long as I kept petting him, he stayed next to me and out of the frame.

I got the shot. I still laugh about it.

If you're getting a home ready for photos and video, plan a comfortable spot for pets with you, away from the rooms being filmed. A happy dog doesn't care about your listing video. He just wants somebody to notice him.

The whole story, and what I tell sellers about pets on shoot day, is here:

Burnt Store Marina on a calm Florida morning. 🌊

We were out here for a listing shoot this week and I couldn't drive away without sending the drone up. Burnt Store is one of those places where the marina sells the lifestyle before anyone opens the front door.

If you list here, lead with the water. Your buyers are coming for it.

Bell had just posted a reply to Christine's five-star review when another email landed.

It was Steph, our AI follow-up helper, asking if we'd like to reply to that same review. Two helpers had shown up a minute apart. Bell was already a step ahead.

That little overlap helped us improve how we respond. A good reply picks up on what the client actually said, rather than stopping at "Thanks so much!"

Getting the review starts with an equally thoughtful ask. We wait about a week after delivering a shoot, so the client has had time to see what the photos did for their listing. Steph drafts the note. Bell reads it and decides what gets sent.

If asking for reviews keeps slipping behind the next job, today's article walks through how we're making room for it. You might find an idea to use in your own business.

The reply was waiting in Gmail before I got to my car.

Friday morning, I was heading to a shoot when a client's assistant emailed about a home we'd photographed. I knew the answer, so I told Jules on my phone while walking down the driveway.

She put the draft in the right thread, in our voice, with our footer already on it. Bell read it and hit Send.

That's the boundary we keep with our AI inbox assistant: she drafts, a person decides. You can save time on client replies without handing over the relationship.

This weekend, Jules earned a bigger job. In this week's Elevated Edge, meet the assistant who's helping Bell sit down to a calmer inbox.
