Before the summer came to an end, I got to have the most amazing experience camping with a group of extremely talented photographers. It was just what my heart needed to get back into what I love. Huge thank you to Jess Craig Photography who styled and led this shoot and of course the amazing Stormy Solis for inspiring us all and getting us all together ❤️❤️ I felt so privileged to share space with everyone and get to capture this beautiful family.

As the due date for baby #4 approaches. I have made a big decision. I will be taking at least a 1 year maternity leave. I absolutely love capturing all the beautiful families I meet, but I have had to remind myself that I have my own family memories to enjoy and capture. It has been so hard to balance life because I love giving myself 100% to photography, but I simply cannot give that much of myself with soon to be 4 little ones who still need me so very much. I will still be taking on some personal projects as well as full-filling any sessions I have scheduled or donated, but other than that, I will be taking time to heal, spend time with my family, and get readjusted to adding another little person to love on. ❤️

P.S. This was an impromptu session that reminded me of what I love capturing, but also of the magical little moments I have the privilege of witnessing within my own little garden of children.

Milestone sessions can be so much fun. I love capturing them between 6-9 months when they are sitting up, but can't quite run away yet 🤣

It has been a whirlwind settling into Colorado, and I have so many beautiful sessions to share! Luciana got to feel like a true real life Princess for her 5th birthday this year, but let's be honest she always feels like a princess! 😉

Londres turned 1 yesterday. I am so sad I didn't get to do birthday pictures for her, but I cant wait to see her continue to grow into a strong and beautiful little girl. Feliz Cumpleanos Londres!

I am loving the cooler temperatures! I have been busy busy this month with the sweetest newborns and families ❤️
I decided to use my Leia as my model for this fall setup! She wasn't a huge fan of being swaddled like a little newborn at 4 months new 🤣

Is it too late for a newborn session?
A common question I get, and the answer is; it's never too late to bring your baby in! They grow so fast, but you will not regret bringing them even if its not within their first few weeks. I have photographed "newborns" as early as 3 days and as old as 3 months. They may not be as sleepy, but we will still get beautiful images.

In the white, Leia was 2 weeks old and in the floral she was just over a month old.
