Recently wrapped up aerial and ground photography for the newly completed Les Schwab Tire Center in Woodland Park.

This project included:

✅ Site context imagery for stakeholders and records

One of the advantages of drone photography is the ability to show a project at multiple scales—from architectural details on the ground to full-site context from the air. The aerial views also capture the unique setting of this project with Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountain landscape in the background.

Back in Business 🚁🔥

My drone was delivered last night — and to my surprise, DJI sent me a brand-new replacement for the cost of the repair. Absolutely blown away by their service.

Here’s the very first shot from the new bird. Grateful for everyone who checked in, encouraged me, and kept me motivated these past couple weeks.
Setbacks don’t stop the mission — they sharpen it.

Good news — DJI accepted my repair request for the Mavic 3 Pro, and the drone is now being restored.

The total repair cost came in at $213, covering a new rear arm module, gimbal vibration board, and calibration. Considering the damage, that’s a small price to keep Aerial Professional Services flying strong.

This whole process was a good reminder that setbacks are part of every creative journey — it’s how we respond that defines us. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who reached out with encouragement and support this past week. 🙏

Can’t wait to share the first flight back in the Colorado sky soon. 🚁

Sometimes even the best flights end with a hard landing.

Yesterday my Mavic 3 Pro — the heart of Aerial Professional Services — took serious damage after an unexpected impact. The rear arm and motor were completely fractured, grounding me for now while I wait for DJI’s repair estimate.

This drone isn’t just equipment — it’s how I capture stories, document Colorado from above, and keep my veteran-owned small business moving forward.

It’s been a tough few days, but I’m not giving up. Once I know the full repair cost, I’ll be sharing a small community campaign to help get this bird back in the air. Every message of encouragement, every share, every bit of support means more than I can say.

Grateful to everyone who’s been part of this journey so far — this is just a pit stop, not the end of the flight. 🚁
