Inside an abandoned barn with historical ties to early dutch immigrants located on the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The building had caught fire earlier in the week sustaining damage to the floor joists, and thus is liable to collapse in the next few years. I arrived to scout the area and happened upon one turkey vulture taking shelter from the heat of the day, and as I was setting my camera up it was joined by it's partner. (Prints available in Luster and Matte)

"Vague suggestions of metaphorical meaning and fragmented textual elements serve as a catalyst for the viewers subconscious, as the mind attempts to fill the void left in the absence of any specific context."

As a proud resident of the Ocean State I've always loved and respected the ocean. As (which really should be every day) comes to a close I figured I would post one of my favorite pictures I took this year of the beautiful beach I grew up going to as a child.

The oceans of the world are both beautiful and vital to every living thing on the planet. We need to protect them.
