Posted a few weeks ago after being inspired by this beautiful spot ❤ Most of the brooks and rivers have been pretty low this season, so I’m opening up lifestyle summer mini sessions 🥰

These are based around the things you actually do in summer… ice cream runs, sprinklers, boating, etc ❤️

Brook and river sessions are still available after a good rainy day when the water levels are right.

Sessions are available Monday–Thursday and within 30 minutes of Burrillville, RI. $150 to reserve and $200 due before your session.

Kelsey & Rich's wedding at Stonehurst last year landed on a nor'easter! We didn't have much time or many dry spots to take a lot of bridal portraits due to the rain on their wedding day.

So, we went back to StoneHurst at Hampton Valley yesterday for a Bridal session!

I wanted to share more tonight, but I'm calling it a night. 🥱 Here's a little sneak peek.

Just a little thought I'm having at 10pm at night…

AI is just out of control now... and if you didn't know... it's becoming a huge thing in photography... A lot of photographers shoot a session and then throw the images into program to edit for them now... and they have a gallery done for them super quick.

I totally understand using tools to help workflow... I use tools that help sometimes (like culling- yet I still go through them myself again afterwards) because I’m one person running a business and raising kids...

But there is just no way I can just let a program edit my images and then send over my work like that.

Editing is part of the art for me.

I always say the photos are like a sketch before the painting.... I edit my own stuff.. my work is MY Art.

It takes me way longer... takes a ton of my time and gives me way more work.

But I care too much about what I deliver to rush through it.

My clients are worth it. They’re paying for my talent, and both they and my art are WORTH the time.

And yeah… I’ll be honest, I do use AI sometimes for certain things. But maybe we just need to be a little more mindful with how far we take it… for the environment... and to keep using our own talents and brains more.

I’m genuinely happy that I’m no longer wasting my life on things that don’t make me happy anymore 🥰

But an Important first step is organizing all my bins of supplies 🤦🏻‍♀️
