Coffee & wine? I’m there. 🫶☕️

JA PATTY®, RI’s first Jamaican patty shop, now has coffee. And if you didn’t already know… they also have *beverages.* 21+ ofc. 😉🍷

If you’re looking for a Caribbean twist to your usual, they are more than happy to make an *elevated* Jamaican coffee… with dark rum. (or go for the rum punch !! 🌺)

Their brew is locally sourced from New Harvest Coffee. 🌱 I added caramel and sweet cream to my nitro.

The biggest pluses? Easy parking, no line, and great service. The owners of JA PATTY® genuinely care about all their customers and are so happy to see their business making its mark on PVD.

You’ve heard of their food truck, but have you been to the shop yet?! 🌺

JA Patty is Rhode Island’s first Jamaican Patty Shop, and is a vibrant, authentic take on Caribbean cuisine, made from scratch. 🫶

Besides their popular patties, they also have rice bowls, iced coffee, wraps, and yes, rum punch. 😉

If you’re new to Jamaican cuisine, JA PATTY® is the place to go. Using flavors like coconut, plantain, mango, bbq, curry, and cilantro crema, their menu is full of robust, sweet, and citrusy flavors.

While it’s on Westminster Street, the shop is removed from the heart of downtown and has plenty of street parking for visitors! Located in the west end. 🍋‍🟩🚶‍♂️

A new restaurant has already made its mark on Providence, Rhode Island — And we. are. obsessed. ❤️

Mémère’s, a new cozy downtown restaurant serves up French comfort food in a warm, intimate atmosphere that is meant to feel like a Sunday at your grandmother’s.

Their menu changes seasonally, with local New England influence, attention to details, and plates meant to be shared.

We thoroughly enjoyed our sharables: the gnudi, melon & prosciutto, a homemade sorbet trio, coconut passionfruit cheesecake, and the brownie sundae. No crumbs. 🍨💋

Kim checks another Providence Summer Bucket List experience off the list with a ride on La Gondola Providence! Thanks to GoProvidence for helping make it happen.

There’s something pretty special about seeing Providence from the water, especially while cruising through the heart of downtown aboard an authentic Venetian gondola.

Let’s go to Malkanis’ Cafe! 🫐🇵🇰🍵

This new Pakistani cafe is right across from Providence Performing Arts Center on Weybosset Street in downtown Providence.

With South Asian-inspired flavors using cardamon, saffron, and rose water, a few favorite coffees include the tiramisu, gulab jaman, and rismali lattes.

They also have pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and acai bowls! 🥑
