Running your own business is no joke. It requires learning a lot of different skills and wearing many many hats 🎩 🧢 👒

As full time wedding photographers, the actual amount of time spent photographing weddings and elopements is just a teeny fraction of our work. Dude, I’m exhausted just typing all of this out (but we wouldn’t change it for anything).

A little looksie at what we’ve been up to lately… doing our favorite fall activity (not sweating to death) while simultaneously doing our other favorite fall activity (photographing weddings, duh).

Jess and Adam’s wedding kicked off our October on an INSANE high note with the most dreamy fall, Little Women inspired wedding. The venue they chose was used as one of the filming locations for the Greta Gerwig film, and omg y’all, we need more weddings here please! We easily could’ve spent another hour running around the property with the two of them. It’s massive, with dope views, and beautiful old buildings.

BIG NEWS HERE AT RTP!!!

As of 5:00pm today, Evan is officially done with his compliance job and joining me full time at Rhode Tripper!!!

We’re so incredibly grateful to each and every couple, family, business, and beyond who’ve hired us and more importantly trusted us to capture some of your most important moments. It’s given us the ability to make this transition to full time photographers (and videographers now too 👀) possible for both of us.

We are SO excited about this next step in our business. I myself am excited and also feeling a little weird about being Evan’s full time boss 😂

What do you get when you combine a stunning venue, pretty flowers, a strong community of people around you, incredible food, tons of COLOR and two gorgeous brides? No trick question here - it was Mikhala and Laura’s “bread and roses” wedding day over Labor Day weekend. It was one of the most relaxed yet also exuberantly joyful and celebratory days we’ve ever had the honor to photograph.

Cheers to the sweetest humans, and extra shout out to Laura because a little birdie told me it’s her birthday today!!!
