Loved capturing this natural light portrait session for the beautiful miss Maria. I utilized both natural and studio light for the session, but this one is definitely my favorite. Getting to have her come to my apartment turned studio in Providence was such a fun experience. There’s nothing better than working one-on-one with a client listening to 90’s R&B to create a relaxed session.

Amber and Pat braved chilly Providence weather to capture these stunning engagement photos. The two of them had such a fun and playful energy you almost didn’t notice the sounds of the city buzzing around us. The best part of this golden hour shoot was the beautiful sunset that popped up over the skyline as the night ended (scroll to the end to soak it all in).

Fighting off the cold winds and looming snow, Heather and Doug got ready in a historic loft just outside of Providence, RI. Inside, where the temperatures were much cozier, they both got dressed and ready before reading vows before their intimate elopement. Not shortly after the snow began to fall as they cut their cake and took some portraits together.

As the sun began to set over the city, Heather and Doug braved flurries and chilly winds for a walk at Prospect Park in Providence.

They’re the kind of couple I love to capture who are relaxed, can share a good laugh, and take the time to really soak in the quiet moments together.

Today I had to say goodbye to my sweet, tiny baby. Over 16 years ago I was there the day she was born and today I held her as she drifted to sleep for the last time.

Kitty, affectionately known as Bean, loved laying in the spots of sun that came through the window, chasing around crumpled receipts, trying to sneak bites of bread on occasion, and laying on my legs as she slept. She was a sweet, but sassy, little 4lb cat. Her favorite toy was a little catnip stuffed beaver she’d sometimes toss around and chase. We kept it close by her so she would feel comforted in the end.

To say I’m heartbroken is an understatement. Kitty spent close to two decades of life changes and adventures with me. I will keep her in my heart the rest of my days. 🤍
