Pro tip.

Before you hire your wedding photographer look at their reception shots. If you can’t find any then ask for a few examples. The reception is the hardest part of the wedding to shoot. The lighting is never consistent and it gets darker and darker as the sun goes down. It has taken me years to get here and I still have tons of room for growth.

There were many jobs in my past I am so thankful for as they were huge learning experiences and at the time I did my best. (Which was less than desirable back then.)

BUT my point is know the quality of the work of the person you are hiring. Make sure they are able to capture the full day properly.
