With only THREE weddings left in 2026, I’m feeling all the emotions as this season comes to an end. 🥹🤍

This year has taught me so much… about life, myself, and what it means to own a business. I’ve photographed over 20 weddings, some close to home and others that have taken me hours away. Being a travel photographer has always been a dream of mine, and getting to watch that dream become part of my life is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m so thankful for this life God has blessed me with and for every couple who has trusted me to capture their day. One of the sweetest parts of this job is getting to meet so many beautiful people and their families, who welcome me in and make me feel like one of their own. I show up to capture your memories and leave with so many of my own. 🤍

Getting to witness your love stories and preserve moments you’ll look back on for years means more to me than I can put into words.

It’s bittersweet knowing this wedding season is almost over, but my heart is so full. I still have three beautiful days to capture, and I can’t wait to see where 2027 takes me!

Something NEW and exciting is also coming to Captured by Brooklynn, and I can hardly wait to officially announce it and share it with you all! 🥹✨ Thank you for being part of this little dream of mine.

Christmas minis are coming!! 🎄🎅🏼✨

I’ll be posting the official dates, times & booking info NEXT WEEK!

For now, here’s a little inspo I’ve found from other photographers to give you an idea of the vibe I’m going for! My setup won’t be exact, as I’ll be purchasing and designing different pieces to make it my own, but it will have a very similar feel!

These minis will be set up outdoors at my house in Proctorville, Ohio!

An important update regarding the privacy of the children I photograph. 🤍

I’ve been thinking a lot about this, and after the recent U.S. Court of Appeals ruling involving the private possession of certain AI-generated child sexual abuse material, I’ve decided that I will no longer be posting identifiable photos of children’s faces on my website or social media.

With how quickly AI is advancing and how easily photos posted publicly online can be taken, saved, altered, or used in ways we never intended, I just don’t feel comfortable putting photos of your babies and children out there publicly anymore.

I will absolutely still be photographing your babies, kiddos, and families just like I always have!! 🤍 You’ll still receive all of your photos in your private gallery. This just means I personally won’t be sharing photos where a child’s face is identifiable on my business pages or website.

I will also be going back through my website and social media and removing past photos where a child’s face can clearly be seen. This may take me a little bit of time because there are years of photos to go through, but I want this change to apply to the images I’ve shared in the past too, not just what I post moving forward.

I know I can’t control what happens everywhere on the internet, and I can’t control what anyone else chooses to post. But I can control what I put out there through my business, and this is one small thing I feel like I can do to help protect the little ones who are trusted in my care.

Your babies are so much more important to me than having another cute photo to post. 🤍

I hope all of my families can understand and respect why I’m choosing to make this change!
