Spent this morning at the Madras Airport and then hopped out to Lake Billy Chinook to capture some images of the aircraft working the Bench Fire. We were lucky enough to watch some amazing scoops from the Bridger Aerospace Scoopers in their CL-215's as well as some fills and drops from the HTS Sikorsky Sky Crane. The smoke was not in our favor and just too thick to get any solid images of retardant drops from the many LAT's and the VLAT that were also working the fire. These men and women in the air are absolutely incredible and so impressive!
