It’s been quiet around these parts as we’ve been growing our own family and cherishing all the baby snuggles this past year. This sweet sunset family sesh needs a permanent spot on my feed.🤍

If there is one thing I can tell you when prepping for your family sessions, it’s to let go of all the expectations and embrace your littles in how they are feeling in the moment. Don’t force smiles, relax in the quiet moments, and embrace the chaos of the wild ones.

These three were literal experts at just “being” themselves and embracing the moment.🫶🏼

Lately I’ve been loving the sessions that are close to home for y’all. For some reason they always feel a little more meaningful, a little more sweet. While driving to an “epic” location can be fun and beautiful for family sessions, I truly believe some of the best photos come when you are in a place that holds meaning in your life in some way. Often times that’s home!

Just down the road from J + M’s house was a beautiful field of daisies. It did not disappoint.
