A handful from my session with Sophie who was a total trooper between the wind + cold that were starting to kick up at that point in the evening.

This was probably the hardest session I’ve done in terms of trying to overcome about a dozen things that were making shooting difficult (one being that the light was fading - fast) lol, but we still got that beautiful sunset and her gorgeous mare together 🥰

Working with horses takes a lot of patience at times and sometimes, it just isn’t going to be in the cards.

You have to respect their boundaries as much as a human’s and that comes with the territory. Can it be frustrating when your vision doesn’t happen? Absolutely. Is it worth trying again because you *know* the magic that can be created? Hands down x10000!

I’m obsessed with what I do and I’ll give it however many takes it needs to get the right shot. 🫶🏻

I can’t imagine a more fun or fulfilling day other than spending it with great humans and equally great horses. 🐴 🥰

For my non equine friends, spring is especially fun (the sugars in the fresh grass are like pixie sticks to little kids)😉! These were taken in the Fall, when the cooler weather lends itself to some extra sass but we still got some beautiful images.

Equine photography has its challenges but as long as there’s patience, there’s always the opportunity to capture memories.

I couldn’t ask for a more rewarding subject to photograph. ✨

✨Good Morning! ✨

It’s been a few long months waiting for the weather to start warming back up, but we’re here!

Which means it’s time to start booking Spring sessions and making the most of the beautiful sunsets once again 😍

I don’t know about you guys but as a photographer one of my favorite things ever is feeling like more natural light can be utilized.

I’m extremely excited to see what this season brings and I have a surprise for those of you who aren’t on my personal page!

The cutest family with the biggest hearts 💕

Danielle and I worked together years back and she was always one of the sweetest people you could have met.

When she contacted me asking about doing family photos, OF COURSE I was going to say “yes!”.

True to this time of year and especially because it was earlier in the morning, the cold kept everyone wanting to move around and warm up.

The girls were a blast to work with and a few of these photos were even taken by each of them 🫶🏻

When I say I have THE BEST clients? I mean it to my core. Every single of you has been a dream to work with and I’m beyond blessed to do something I love so much.

The sun was a paid actor in this session 😎 The weather was a little chilly but you never would have known it with how much love + warmth this family gave.

Not only were they absolute sweethearts but grandma brought the entertainment to this one and she did not disappoint lol.

As things wound down we grabbed some at the Cherry Fire Department which allowed everyone to warm up a bit as the sun had gone down completely at that point.

It’s always an honor to do first responder family photos and I hope to do many more being back in the area.

Big thanks to everyone for being good sports about the cooler temps. It paid off with a gorgeous sunset, lots of laughs and beautiful photos!

I’ve been slacking with posting but I have a nice stack of sessions to put up, so let’s start with my last senior session of the season with Jeremy. 😁

He was a good sport about us trying to contend with the wind at times and we made the most of everyone suddenly wanting to go down Long St. while doing his headshots haha.

His mom was awesome (I have the best senior mamas to work with) in helping and we had plenty of laughs along the way.

Oh hi!

I will be cranking out photos this weekend, so if you have had your session within the last week, I will be pushing to get them all done by the middle of next week.

Thank you everyone for being so patient! 

For those waiting on senior pictures, you’re first in my queue so that there is plenty of time to pick which one you want submitted for the yearbook.

I’d also like to low-key (but not really because they’re amazing) thank the girls at Scooters for keeping me fueled while juggling everything. 🙌🏻

Keep your eyes open! I’ll (finally) be getting caught up with regular posts again 🫶🏻 It’s been an insane (but awesome) month. I appreciate everyone’s patience as I juggle 3 jobs, 2 kids, and having only 1 of me to do it all 😂.

The first sneak peeks from this past Saturday’s equine shoot in Oswego! This sweet boy had to have an eye removed due to cancer and we were able to get pics of him before he had his surgery this week.

Moments like that mean everything to me. 💛

All of the ladies I worked with were phenomenal and I couldn’t have done it without Jessica’s help!

I’ve met some amazing people along the way in all of this and I have to say that my horse friends are like no other.

Truly, I love y’all and I’m beyond grateful for your help + support in this industry.
