Quite an interesting discovery in the house today. County records show that our house was built in 1910 but we just found this plank in the living room ceiling. The inscription reads,
O.L?. Fleshman builder
This November 6th 1889
In the year of our Lord
If this is the builders "mark" that dates the house to 1889 and makes it 137 years old and not 116 like we thought!
