Mom would have celebrated her 85th birthday on the 3rd of this month, so I'm sharing a short story she wrote in the '80s. Welcome to Angela Jane's first blog of 2026: "Fire and Ash." Winter break wasn't even two full weeks and a lot of events occurred. The viewing of "Avatar: Fire and Ash" with my brother-in-law was the result of a bet he lost, so I got to see the move for "free." I still owe him a meal at Golden Rice Authentic Thai & Asian Cuisine though. Somehow with all that was going on we didn't get that fit into our schedules.
May 2026 bring you the rest you want and need ...
