Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve been active on Instagram (so busy taking photos that I’ve not found much time for sharing them - I’ll try to be better 🙈) and I have some new followers so I wanted to make an introduction post.

I’m Annie, and I’m a natural light film and digital photographer based in Princeton, NJ. I shoot film for so many reasons, but a few that come to mind are — I love the true-to-life colors of film, the way film captures light and can make a photo bright without being blown out, and how the film camera I shoot with can blend subjects in photos in an almost painterly way. But film is not the best medium for all situations, so I shoot with a standard digital camera too and edit digitals to match my film aesthetic. Most of the final galleries I deliver contain both!

I mostly do portrait photography, which encompasses a lot — family, newborn, maternity, and engagement photoshoots, and events, like proposals, elopements and weddings. I always love meeting new families and couples and helping capture their most treasured memories and milestones, but I also love my returning customers because it’s so special to watch families grow and help document that too!
