Run & gun in downtown NYC with Luís Kalil. Street to roof, dodging traffic and trying to make some photos before the city decided to throw something else at us. 📸

That’s one of the things I love about shooting in NYC: there’s no real “quiet on set.” There are people everywhere, cars coming at you, horns, sirens, random chaos, and about a million things competing for your attention. You just roll with it.

Luís was a total pro through all of it. He knew the looks he wanted, was open to ideas, and we bounced back and forth until we got what we were after. Definitely a photographer’s dream shoot.

Luís, anytime you need a photographer, I’m in. I’d love to do it again!

And thanks for watching my back and warning me about the cars coming up behind me, particularly the ones that weren’t already honking from half a block away. 😂

Ace brings an incredible energy to an L.A. Guns show, and that enthusiasm is infectious! Dur this performance, Ace also showed his gratitude by taking a moment to turn the focus away from himself to honor a longtime friend and mentor who was in the audience, a genuinely hearffelt moment that added another meaningful dimension to an already incredible L.A. Olga is an artist, dancer, and actress who adds an extra bit of fire to an already scorching show! She makes an appearance for at least one of the songs in the set, but I'm not going to tell you which one so I don't ruin the surprise.

Phil absolutely kills it on all of their songs, and when he encourages the crowd to sing the chorus of “The Ballad of Jayne,” he has the whole room in the palm of his hand and the response is instant.
