💚💛 Congratulations to the PGHS Class of 2026!!💚💛
In honor of tomorrow's graduation ceremony, check out Lily's senior session that she did with me!
I always look forward to doing shoots with my seniors because I get to capture the personalities of these soon-to-be-graduates. As an educator, who has worked with 12th graders for several years now, I definitely have a soft spot for these students. Since I did not have the opportunity to get my senior portraits taken like this, the 18-year-old version of me gets to live vicariously through them each time. It makes me want to make every senior portrait experience extra special for my clients. These sessions symbolize the culmination of so much, and I get to see it all through my lens. It's one of my greatest privileges as a photographer and a teacher. Thank you for trusting me to capture these moments for you, Lily!

The greatest compliment for me, as a photographer, is when my clients return time and time again to have their portraits taken. I am always overjoyed to see familiar faces from year to year, from occasion to occasion, or in this case ... from headshot to headshot. Ashley, thank you for always trusting me to capture these branding shots for your businesses!! You were stunning, as always ... I did my best to narrow it down, but I fear I could not chose the five or so that I try to stick to when I share sneak peeks!! 💜

Loved, loved, LOVED Shannon and Dakota's engagement shoot! How do I always luck out and get the cutest couples in front of my camera??? It just does not get any more adorable than this, ya'll. These two were up for anything I suggested, and I had so much fun shooting with them. Beautiful couple, beautiful weather, beautiful setting ... it's what photography dreams are made of! All I can say is I feel so very BLESSED to have been the one to photograph this engagement shoot!! Ooooohhhhweeeeeee! Y'ALL!! This session was one amazing shot after the other. From the location to the weather, the conditions were just right for an amazing afternoon of shooting. Also, let me just add that the chemistry between these two was absolutely palpable! Get you someone who looks at you like THAT!! It was so beautiful to witness ... and capture!

Love is absolutely in the air in 2026! Couple shoots are always a popular request, and I am 100% here for it ... it's a good thing I love LOVE!! There is nothing better than getting to capture the affection and admiration that two people have for one another (and getting to see their fun sides too!) Life does not slow down long enough for us to always notice how beautiful true human connection can be. It was my pleasure to take these engagement portraits for Sam and Alyssa. 📣Senior Sunday Alert!! 📣
When I tell you that I quite literally watched this lovely young lady BLOSSOM in front of my camera lens, I am not even exaggerating!! (Seriously, no pun intended!)
With each frame, I could see her opening up as she let her confidence shine through ... and oh, how it shined ...
WOW!!! I was completely blown away by this sweet, vibrant soul. She is such a beauty!! Choosing which portraits to share from her gallery was so tough, as this senior portrait session was certainly one for the books. Thank you to Laney and her wonderful mom who chose the most perfect location for this epic shoot and who said YES to every single idea I had while we worked together on one of the hottest summer days ever!

Where do I begin?! This was such a special shoot!
Y'all, first of all, I couldn't even decide which portraits to share because there were SO many wonderful shots of this CNU grad. Wow, what an amazing day this was, and the fact that I got to spend some time with one of my all-time favorite former students was just icing on the cake. (Yes, teachers have favorites!)

Zoey was my first head Editor-in-Chief during my first year as a solo yearbook advisor. I can confidently tell you that I would not have survived that experience without her, and I am a better educator for having had her as a student. God knew exactly what he was doing when he put her in my classroom. When she was in my photojournalism class, it was evident that her work ethic rivaled that of most professionals, and it still does!

This year, she graduated an entire year early from CNU having earned a bachelor's degree in Studio Art with a concentration in graphic design. As if that wasn't enough, she also has a double minor in photography & videography and art history! She is an incredible young woman and a budding entrepreneur with an amazing eye for art, photography, and design. To say that I am incredibly proud of her would be an understatement!!

Proms pictures may not be my typical portrait session, but when it's your best friend's son and his girl, you don't turn down the opportunity! Shooting at Flowerdew Hundred was just the icing on the cake. The real treat was getting to capture the genuine happiness and laughter that these two brought out in one another. They were a lot of fun to interact with during the shoot, and I am so glad I got to be the one to photograph their time together before the big dance! 💜
