There are some photo sessions that mean a little more than others.

When I first started experimenting with photography years ago, KJ trusted me to take his high school graduation photos. Back then, I was still learning my camera, finding my style, and figuring out what this photography journey would become.

Today, I had the honor of photographing his college graduation photos.

It’s hard to put into words how special that is. I’ve known KJ since he was a young boy, and watching him grow into the man he is today has been a privilege. Seeing him reach this milestone reminds me not only of how far he’s come, but also how quickly time passes.

KJ, I am incredibly proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished through your hard work, determination, and perseverance. Your future is bright, and I have no doubt this is just one of many achievements to come.

Last weekend at the Fairfield Court Outreach in Richmond, churches, nonprofits, volunteers, and community members came together with one mission: to serve people with love, hope, and compassion.

From the smiles and prayers to the hugs, worship, food, and fellowship — every moment told a story worth capturing.

But the most powerful moment of all? 93 people accepted Jesus. ❤️

I’m grateful I had the opportunity to document such an incredible day and preserve these moments that truly matter.

Photography is more than pictures to me — it’s capturing impact, connection, and the moments that change lives.
