Booking a milestone collection with DVP takes all the effort out of the equation, we do all the work to make sure your sessions are scheduled when they need to be, and your memories are documented and safe.

Who doesn’t love a little before and after?! This one’s pretty special (to me anyway) because it marks the beginning of a new process of editing for me.

I’ve been photographing and editing newborns for nearly a decade now, and have spent countless (literally, countless 😅) hours editing to deliver the best and most beautiful images to my lovely clients. In the last year or so, I’ve begun outsourcing my culling (which means gallery selection, for anyone not familiar with photographer lingo) and batch editing (general color, contrast, exposure, cropping, etc). This was a HUGE milestone for me as a business owner, and really allowed me to spend more time doing more of what I love (and more time to spend with my family, bonus win!). Relinquishing some of that creative control took me 7+ years 😳

But, even with that change, I was still spending hours upon hours touching up photos in photoshop for all those master edits that create the final, finished look my clients deserve.

Enter Photoshop Actions. Idk whether to be embarrassed, laugh, cry, or do a happy dance that it’s taken me this long to figure these out. But I’ve found a way to enhance my editing in a massive way, and this new tool/skill has unlocked SO much potential and TIME. Let’s just skip over the fact that a photoshop class in college is where this whole photography journey started for real, and that class was nearly 20 years ago now, and I’m STILL learning and refining my photoshop skills all these years later 😳😬😅

Biiiiiig news for DVP!

After 8 years of photographing your babies and children, we’re making a HUGE shift.

After lots of thought and consideration, I’ve decided I’m tired of photographing babies and need to shift my artistic focus to weddings only.

So, as of today, DVP will no longer be accepting bookings for newborn or maternity sessions. Weddings and couples only from here out.

8 years in business this year, and we started the year off by putting in countless hours to renovate a new studio space, and I couldn’t be more grateful or more in love with the results 🥰

Thank you to all the family and friends who came to help; there were some long, exhausting days last month to ready this space on time, and it wouldn’t have happened without your support!
