Your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot. And I don’t want it to feel like one.

I want you to actually enjoy your day.

To be present with your people. To laugh until your cheeks hurt. To soak in the fact that you’re marrying your favorite person(!!)

I’ll guide you throughout portraits and will try to stick to the timeline, but I’m not going to keep pulling you away from your wedding just to create content if that’s not what you want to do.

I’ll help with the timeline. I’ll give you resources. I’ll help you plan. I’ll make sure we have time for the beautiful, timeless photos you’re picturing. But without your entire day revolving around getting them.

Because I don’t think you should have to choose between being present and getting beautiful pictures.

You get to live it. I’ll document it🩶

This session is the perfect example of how we can do one that actually *feels like you* and your family. We went to their house and took all of these photos in their yard, with their pool, the tractor, and that incredible mountain view they had too. We got to shoot at the place where they feel the most comfortable in the world and even if they move some day, these pictures will always be such a sweet way to look back on and remember this season of life 💛

Who says you can’t get beach pictures in Prescott?😉 This maternity session at the lake was so much fun and I felt so creatively lit up with doing something a little more different than usual.

We were worried about the looming storm above us the whole time.. but thankfully it never actually rained on us! And the clouds gave us the absolute prettiest sunset and sky in the background😍

Prescott’s courthouse square is definitely one of my favorite spots for summer wedding portraits🌿

You have the luscious trees, the glowy light, and the roses blooming. And can we take a second for Becky’s bouquet?!😍 Those bright orange blooms were the perfect pop of color and made these portraits feel even more like summer🌞 Such a fun, joyful day to capture💛

Their sweet baby boy was born prematurely and spent his first couple months in the NICU, which meant they never got the chance to have newborn photos done. When he was able to come home, Leanne reached out to me so they could finally document their very first photos together as a family of five.

Getting to capture and preserve moments like this is something I’ll never take for granted. It was such an honor to document this chapter for them after everything they’d just been through.

If you’ve ever felt like you missed your window for newborn photos, let this be your reminder that it’s never too late🤎
