When they met, they both said it was an electric feeling.
When they decided to elope; they went on a little location scouting adventure. Finding this tree that had been struck by lightning. Instantly, they knew it was the spot for their ceremony.

The day was perfect - a storm brewing in the distance. They called up the family members and told them to get ready- they're going to elope today. That's right, not tomorrow like planned; but today.
As sister put it, "a shotgun wedding at a shotgun wedding!"
Everyone got ready and followed these two out - down a muddy dirt road and up a trail... to the lightning struck tree.
In the midst of ceremony, a drizzle of rain fell down; but only a touch.
That electric feeling was there during their elopement and the whole weekend. Together, they are electric ⚡️

We made the trek up to an iconic set of rocks in the area. This is the same trek that many natives used to take many years ago as they would come to these sacred rocks. These two were immersed in spending time together as they climbed the rocks, walked new trails, watched planes fly into the city, and got cozy together.
