We split Madyson’s senior session in two parts. Day one was spent downtown Montgomery for a crazy good sunset session. Day two was spent at PHS for a gorgeous sunrise session. Both days this girl crushed it! I’ll never forget the sounds of her squealing as she looked at images on the back of my camera. CORE MEMORY FOR ME! 🤭

Madyson currently yells, GO LIONS 🦁 soon she’ll be yelling GO FALCONS 🦅… but first GRADUATION.🎓🖤

This weekend I had the opportunity to work with the best second shooter in town!!! Miss Chloe was a dream to work with. I’m a little jealous of how adorable her camera was! I quickly snapped this pic of her rushing to meet me and show off her unicorn camera in the process. I wonder if it comes in my size?! 🦄📸

🤯 Look at these before and after pictures!

Luke’s senior showcase was done on their (as I call it.) “what dreams are made of” family property in Mathews, Alabama. I had the time of my life riding around the property on their mule while his Mimi drove us all. The Jernigan family welcomed me into their home and property with open arms. Nearly had to run me off when we finished. I could have stayed forever. We laughed and laughed the whole time as we made this more than having pictures done… it became an absolute treasured experience. They put all of their trust in me as the photographer & the outcome of his session is blowing my mind. I can’t wait to share more later.

Here’s a little before/after editing photo comparison from our shoot yesterday. 🤯

I took Lauren & Jason went on adventure with me yesterday in Chewacla. We hiked, tripped, stumbled, one of us (me) even slid all the way down a giant rock & was inches away from being in the water….BUT….the shots we took were amazing! Yesterday was the definition of when a girl from Indy & a Cali boy hires an Alabama photographer. MAGIC! 😍

Fairytales are real stories, Emily & Wyatt are proof. 🤍

Imagine it’s your wedding day… everything about it is outdoors. You have a spot picked out off a trail the two of you frequently take together where you want to say “I do” to forever together. The two of you love each other so much that even on your wedding day when there’s a 70% chance of rain & there’s no back up plan for your venue. You’re so confident in each other that you’re not even worried about it, because you took a chance on love…you’ll take a chance on the weather too. As the day goes on the clouds get bigger, they get darker. You get ready. You go to the first look reveal location. You take a deep breath. You turn and see THE ONE. You take pictures that go from just a vision - to reality. Rush to the ceremony location. Everything is going perfectly. You’re saying your vows…thunder boom, lightning strikes in the distance and you are still eyes locked staring into the eyes of the one your soul loves. The rings get exchanged. The officiant says “YOU MAY NOW KISS THE BRIDE” … the rain clouds burst open and share your first kiss in the pouring rain!

THAT IS BOUT AS MUCH OF A FAIRYTALE AS IT GETS! I’m forever replaying the fairytale weddings of my clients & thanking God for giving me the talent to be able to. 🥹

Back editing galleries after having to take an unexpected break for sickness and having major surgery, sent a bride images today & this is the convo after she viewed them. 🥰 📸 I promise hyping up your photographer goes so much further than you’d think. My mood currently =‘s ☁️9️⃣. PERIOD.
