Hey there, friend!
If you're new around here, or it's been a while, I'm Amanda. I'm a busy mom, just like you, and I'm trying to keep it all together too.

Sometimes the balance is hard. But the moments I've cherished the most over the years aren't the big, planned ones. They're the boring, mundane ones. Carpool rides. Hugs before they get out of the car for school. Slow Saturday mornings and making a great meal together as a family.
Those are the moments where real life actually happens.

Lately there's been this craze for genuine and authentic connection. I have to be honest, that's what it's always been about for me.

As a Baton Rouge family photographer, those are the moments that light me up when I'm working with clients. They're usually the ones my clients love the most too.

So if you're craving that same kind of connection, let's be friends!

Here you'll find lots of authenticity, real conversations and connections, and a safe place to just be. I don't chase trends. I chase toddlers, crying babies, sleepy mommas, and teenagers who are ready to take on the world, just with a camera in hand.

Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful, hardworking, loving moms out there. It isn't easy growing tiny humans, chasing toddlers, navigating teens and preparing them for the adult world. I hope you take today to nurture yourself, give yourself grace, and recognize what an amazing person and mom you are.
A special thank you to all the momma's who've allowed me into their worlds. To document the pure love and joy between a mother and her children is truly an honor. This work is such a blessing! 💕💐

It’s been a little quiet around here for a while.

Not because nothing was happening, but because a lot has been happening behind the scenes.

After quite a bit of time offline, a brand new website will finally be launching next week and I cannot wait to share it with you.

Over the past few months I’ve been slowly rebuilding my photography business from the ground up. I’ve been refining the experience I want families to have, reconnecting with why I love this work so much, and shaping something that feels truly aligned with this season of life and how I want to serve you moving forward.

If you’re new here, hello. I’m Amanda.

I work with mothers and families who want to slow down and hold onto this season of life a little longer. Together we create timeless portraits and heirloom artwork that tell the story of your family as it is right now. The tiny details, the genuine connections, the moments that feel ordinary today but will mean everything years from now.

For now, I’m just really happy to be here again and excited for all that’s coming soon.

Hey Friends, Happy New Year! Ready or not, 2026 has arrived and somehow were already two weeks in! It's been a minute or so since I've been on here.
I took a good bit of time off this holiday season and I have to admit, it was the reset I needed to come back recharged and ready to tackle this new year

I've spent the last week in a long, intensive workshop, planning out the year, looking into changes I want to make this year and setting some big goals. There's been a hefty amount of time spent reflecting on last year and really digging deep in the work I want to create for you in 2026! I cannot wait to see where this year takes us. There's so much new work I want to create and I'm excited to do that with you. Maybe I'm in over my head, but who says it's not possible!?

Anyway, I hope you've also dreamed big, set new goals, and allowed yourself the space to really think about creating a life that's meaningful and purposeful for you! Not what the world tells us we "need".

Thank you for being on this fun, creative, and inspiring journey with me! Whether you've been a client or a friend hiding behind the scenes just following along...THANK YOU! I really do appreciate you!
