Coming on here to give an update.

Back at the end of August, after returning from our long anniversary weekend camping, I was wiping my counter & in that circular motion, I jammed my right ring finger into my knifeblock, that stays right beside my stove. It hurt so bad! I have never jammed anything that hard before. I know I instantly broke it. I iced it & took ibuprofen & Tylenol & went to bed, still whimpering from the pain.

The next day, I told my peeps at my full time dental job. We xrayed it & sent it to the mom of our receptionist, who is a nurse. I went to CVS & got a finger splint. It bruised all the way down my finger, then it healed. But, it was still bigger than my left ring finger, & I still couldn't grip/grab anything without dropping it. So I took another Pic & sent to her mom again. Her Dr she works for told me to make an appt with my P*P.

So, I did. I got an xray at Midlothian Family Practice. They told me I fractured it, & I need to see a Specialist at Ortho Va. I got an appointment & they did their own xrays, & saw the fracture, along with a tumor, that could be cancerous. So, they set me up for surgery to take out the tumor, & fix the fracture with a bone graft

Surgery was done this past Monday, October 27, 2025. I have my follow up with my Surgeon, Dr. Bogle, & an appt with my Hand Therapist & get my new splint!! So, wish me luck on my healing, so I can get back to the thing I love....making memories for you & your family! I will keep yall updated on my healing journey!!

Oh yeah! I did get the results from the biopsy of the tumor. It is NON-CANCEROUS!!! WOOT! WOOT!! 💃
