Looking for Owls

Since the early 90s when I realized how much harder life is without a degree, I wanted one. When I finally got my diploma, and I sat down and looked at it. The weight of the moment hit me. I wasn’t being fired, I was achieving and moving into the next level of achievement. The weeks leading up to that moment were brutal. Not because of school work, but because I was so terrified to leave. It took me a long time to understand this but transitions can be incredibly hard on people. Thank you Becky, you stood by me during my mood swings, and panic attacks. You supported me for four and a half years in this adventure.

Sometimes, the photoshoot perfectly captures the finality of a moment. As if the camera and the set know something the participants don't. This is part of the set called "The End of the Widow's Narrative. Her sailor leaves the harbor, and she knows the sea will not allow her love to continue.
