The older I get, the more I realize motherhood lives in the smallest things, a hand on a back, fixing tangled hair, carrying someone half-asleep, laughing while overwhelmed.

🤍Those are the moments I hope mothers get to keep forever. Because I really don’t think children grow up remembering perfection. I think they remember presence. The way mom reached for them without thinking. The way home felt in her arms.

To every mother I’ve photographed: thank you for trusting me with the ordinary moments that will someday mean everything.
