I want a banjo. Will I play it? I dunno. I got a mandolin once, and it's basically just "the little guitar" for my grandchildren to bang on. So now I want a banjo for around $250 or less. Whatchyougot?

One of the greatest humanitarians of my lifetime passed away on 8/25/26. The next day this beauty emerged. For those with sharp eyes, yes it's a male. But Dolly wouldn't mind it being named Dolly. She was kind like that.

With the blessing of Matt Springer - Piano & Vox I have incorporated his fabulous piano instrumental called "Mr. Noodle." I think it is remarkably fitting. Thanks, Matt!!!!

What I find most fascinating in this video is that you can see it moving underneath the chrysalis, which I could not spot with my old eyes during the process. But zoomed in on video, you can really see what's happening.

Sorry, but no, I did not take a shot of the lunar eclipse last night. I did go to sleep early, I did wake up, and I did see it. But I just did not have the energy nor motivation to get out the necessary gear for a shot. I've gotten several before.

But here are two adorable bees who were sleeping on a sunflower this morning.

He has dried his wings and is off to spend the next couple of weeks doing his thing. Good luck, fellah.
