I know, I know... we're not even through Halloween yet, and I'm talking about Christmas! 🎄😂
But the holidays have a way of sneaking up on us!
If you've been thinking about updating your family photos, getting pictures of the kids in their Christmas pajamas, or creating something special for grandparents this year, now is a great time to get it on the calendar.

Family photos don't always have to mean standing still, looking at the camera, and saying cheese! 📸

Sometimes, it's as simple as taking a walk together, holding hands, and enjoying a few moments as a family. ❤️

One of the things I love about photographing families is finding that balance between the traditional portraits everyone wants and the natural, in-between moments that show your family's personality.

During your session, I'll guide you through poses, give you little things to do together, and keep things moving so it feels more like spending time with your family and less like posing for pictures.

And yes, we'll still get that beautiful photo of everyone looking at the camera, too! 😉

Because the best family portraits aren't just about how everyone looks. They're about remembering this season of life together.

Hi! I'm Amy! 👋❤️

It's been a little while since I've properly introduced myself around here, so I thought it was time!

I'm the photographer behind Moments by Amy Photography, which I started back in 2017. It's hard to believe it's been over nine years already!

I'm also a wife, mom, and educator with over 20 years of experience working with children. So if you've ever wondered how I manage to get those little ones to cooperate during a session, let's just say I've had plenty of practice! 😂

I photograph newborns, babies and milestones, families, seniors, branding/headshots, and women who want to celebrate themselves in front of the camera.

My home studio is located in Stowe, PA, and I also love getting outside for sessions at some of our beautiful local locations.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to know my clients, watching families grow, and helping people feel comfortable and confident in front of my camera.

And if there's one thing I want you to know about working with me, it's this: You don't have to know how to pose! I'll guide you through it, we'll have some fun, and we'll capture a mix of beautiful portraits and genuine moments.

My goal is for you to leave thinking, "That was so much easier than I expected!"

It's Milestone Monday! ❤️

Can we talk about how adorable tummy time sessions are?!

Those big eyes, curious little expressions, and tiny toes! 🥹

One of my favorite things about milestone sessions is capturing all the little details and personalities that change so quickly during that first year.

And the best part? We don't need a bunch of elaborate setups to create beautiful portraits. Sometimes a cozy blanket, a few simple accessories, and a happy baby are all we need!

Whether your little one is working on tummy time, sitting up on their own, or getting ready to celebrate their first birthday, every stage is worth remembering.

Here are a few favorites from today’s Senior Portrait Minis! I loved capturing each senior’s personality while also creating the classic cap-and-gown portraits every family deserves.

My next portrait date is Saturday, October 17 at my Stowe studio. Cap and gown are provided, and seniors may bring a dress shirt and tie, dress, or another polished outfit for additional photos.

The $25 registration fee reserves your appointment and is applied toward your order. After the session, you’ll receive a private proofing gallery where you can choose your favorites. Affordable print and digital packages range from $49–$119.
