📸 **Kids Photography Camp is Back!**

A few summers ago, I had the opportunity to teach a group of young photographers, and watching them discover the world through a camera lens was incredible. From exploring local landmarks to learning creative techniques, these kids amazed me with their curiosity, creativity, and unique perspectives.

This summer, I'm excited to bring the camp back!

As a certified teacher with 19+ years of classroom experience and a professional photographer, I love helping kids build confidence, develop creativity, and learn new skills in a fun, hands-on environment.

Throughout the week, campers will:

📷 Learn camera basics
🔍 Participate in photography scavenger hunts
🌳 Explore outdoor photography
🎨 Complete creative photo challenges
👀 Learn how to "see" like a photographer
🤝 Share and discuss their favorite images

No photography experience is required, and cameras are available to borrow if needed!

✨ SEASON 2 IS HERE ✨

Last year, the 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience became so much more than a photography project.

It became a space where women shared their stories.
Where confidence was rediscovered.
Where women stopped hiding and allowed themselves to be seen.

The gala this month reminded me exactly why this project matters so deeply.

So today, I’m incredibly excited to officially announce:
📸 Season 2 of the 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience is now open.

This next season will continue celebrating the strength, beauty, resilience, and stories of women over 40 — while evolving into an experience that feels even more intentional, supportive, and accessible.

What a night. ❤️

Tonight was the Timeless: A Celebration of Strength That Never Fades gala for the 40 Over 40 Project, and I honestly don’t even know if I have the words to fully describe how incredible it was.

The room was filled with strength, laughter, stories, support, and some truly amazing women. We celebrated life experiences, resilience, friendship, motherhood, loss, growth, second chances, and the beauty that comes with every season of life.

We raised money for an incredible cause, Laurel House, enjoyed delicious food from Imperial Catering, and spent the evening in the perfect venue at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles.

And in true photographer fashion… I, the photographer, barely took a single photo all night. 🤦‍♀️
Honestly though? I was too busy soaking it all in.

One of my favorite moments of the evening was gathering the 21 incredible women who attended and participated in the 40 Over 40 Project together for this group photo. Looking around that room and seeing these women — each with their own story, journey, and strength — was something I will never forget.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, donated, shared kind words, bought raffle tickets, and helped make this night so special. My heart is so full tonight. ❤️

I’ve had the honor of photographing 40 incredible women over 40, each with a story of strength, resilience, and life experience that deserves to be seen and celebrated.

On May 9, those stories come together at
“Timeless: A Celebration of Strength that Never Fades”
📍 Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles
🕔 5–9 PM

This isn’t just a gala—it’s a night of:
💛 Powerful personal stories
🖼️ A portrait exhibit showcasing these amazing women
🎟️ Raffles + 50/50 benefiting Laurel House (supporting survivors of domestic violence)

This project has been months in the making, and seeing it all come together is incredibly meaningful—not just for me, but for every woman who said yes to being seen and sharing her story.

This session hit a little different ❤️

When it came time for my daughter Elli’s senior photos, I told her she could choose any photographer… and she chose me. That meant more than I can put into words.

As a photographer, I’ve captured so many milestones for other families—but this one? This one was mine. Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it. Watching her step into this season of life while standing behind my lens was something I’ll hold onto forever.

Elli, I am so proud of the person you are becoming. Thank you for trusting me with something this special.
