Back in the late 1980s, I spent my days working at Renaissance Morgan Farm, a Morgan horse breeding and show barn that felt like its own little world. I didn’t carry a camera much back then — I was too busy haltering yearlings, grooming and tacking up for the trainer, and learning about care and training — but one afternoon I finally brought it out. I snapped a few photos, not thinking much of it at the time. Now, those few frames feel like treasures. The yearlings in these pictures were some of my favorites, full of personality and promise. I loved every minute of it. 🥰🐴
