Before adding keffiyeh designs to my Etsy store, I showed this to my niece Mary and her best friend Nadia, who is Palestinian, and asked if they would be offensive. They liked it, and Nadia responded that she would definitely wear one:) - so here is one of my keffiyeh bikinis. I designed them in celebration of the keffiyeh, or kufiyah, a symbol of Palestinian identity, freedom and resilience. All proceeds are donated to The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees.

My dear Carol friend asked why no swimsuits for us ladies more mature (read: old)? So I did a deep search and found this style (why were they hiding it in the back closet? Doesn't anyone over 45 swim? We can't all skinny-dip; they don't allow it at the local gym).
