I am so excited to share this beautiful DC maternity sessions on the blog today! Meredith and Dan were such troopers as we battled the most intense winds of my photography career - despite that, I am so thrilled with how their photos turned out and can't wait to shoot here again soon 🤍

Today on the blog I am sharing a very special maternity session. The National Arboretum is one of my all time favorite locations and has now stopped accepting permits for photography. This was the last session that took place before federal layoffs prevented further photo sessions, and I feel so lucky that I was able to shoot at such a stunning location one more time.

This gorgeous mama borrowed a dress from the client closet and it turned out so perfect!! We had such a wonderful time and I was so happy with the photos!

It's blogging season! Winter is notoriously a bit slower than other times of the year and I am so looking forward to catching up on sharing sessions I have loved over the last 6 months or so.

This one was very special. I'm often asked if pets can join in on sessions and my answer is a resounding "YES!" I had a blast capturing this sweet family! The hint of cherry blossoms in the background is making me so excited for the spring season to come 🌸
