We often (as in almost every day) talk to couples in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area who haven’t had proper portraits together since their wedding.

Some of them 20…30…50 years ago.

Most have had family pictures, sure. But what’s the foundation of that family? How much have the two of you built TOGETHER since you got married?

READ THIS if you’re a parent (especially a mom) that plans on going to a pumpkin patch or fall festival in North Idaho or Spokane 🎃

Get in front of the camera.

Get in on the family moments that will turn into memories.

The stranger walking by won’t be bothered if you ask them to snap a picture, other moms will probably be happy to help.

Because they know.

They know how much they wish they would have asked someone to include them in pumpkin patch pictures, because it’s not a FAMILY picture without you in it.

A few things to consider the next time someone says “it’s just a dog.”

Have you ever been to a wedding and watched the groom as his new bride is walking down the aisle?

I strongly suggest it. It gives a whole new perspective to the love being celebrated.

If you’re like most people, you likely watched the gorgeous mom and their sweet baby the first time through this video.

While I was recording, I was watching him watching her.

The pride, happiness, and joy on his face filled the room.

I can only imagine the memories going through his head and heart. The small and big moments that led them to this time of celebrating the new chapter of parenthood together.

That’s the power of family portraits. Yes, the babies are adorable! But when you zoom out, there’s even more beauty, memories, and special moments being preserved.
