This past April I saw my beloved were in town (Boston) and I was determined to see them. I went to the Friday night game with a friend. While there, I learned that Tarik Skubal was scheduled to pitch Saturday night and when I got home I immediately searched for a solo ticket on Saturday. I arrived early and watched warm ups, strolled the ballpark and took it all in. To watch him pitch was such a gift.
I know, it’s just a game, but I’m emotional about this loss. He’s meant to much to this team and this city, and to baseball. Sku, we’ll miss you. I will always be a fan.
Dodgers, be good to him. I’ll be watching.
