For those of you who have been to Southeast Asia with us, you have probably been guided and pampered by either or both of Sopheam Brem in Cambodia or Aung in Myanmar. They are both dealing with horrific issues. On top of 2 years of no tourism, Sopheap's daughters have cancer and both of Aung's parents tested positive for Covid yesterday. Many of us who know them have been sending them money (which has become complicated). We're planning to wire so more soon. If you'd like to contribute, let us know via email to [email protected], or PayPal to [email protected]. In a few days we'll figure out the best option between Xoom, Western Union, and offshore wire transfer and send it along. Thanks!

I've been traveling with and shooting out of the new Think Tank Urban Access 15. It's a great all-around bag. It holds my Nikon D850 + either one lens and my Mavic Pro kit, or 2-3 lenses. My 15-inch Dell Precision 5540 fits in the laptop sleeve, but I typically leave that back at the hotel to make for a lighter day in the field. The quick side openings (like the smaller Trifecta) make it possible to shoot directly from the bag. Here I'm up at the top of the hill at the Cosmac Fortress in Montenegro.

Approaching Aialik Glacier in Kenai Fjords, with the action Gorillapod-attached to the front rail of the tour boat. Motor is obviously running, which typically means lashing a camera to a boat is a problem. Here you can see RockSteady does quite a good job of compensating. Unlike DJI's gimballed products, there is limited tolerance for large motions, so here we're mostly testing the capability to damp the vibration and the small amount of wave motion from the calm water.
