I finally got to editing new images. I'm constantly trying to edit my photos in ways that emphasize what I felt and saw when I originally took the photograph. It was my first time to this particular rocky beach. The fog was thick and it was starting to drizzle. The mood was solemn, peaceful and incredibly inspiring. I often like to imagine a story line play out when I photograph. A man in a small sail boat looking for adventure, or perhaps a sad story of a fishermen lost at sea. Either way, I hope these bring a sense of serenity and inspiration when you view them. :) These new pieces are available exclusively at SerenaandLily.com

I finally caught the White Heron I've been wanting to photograph. It seems like every time I brought my equipment to the Pier, there were no Herons in sight.
