The day many of us were shooting weddings, working behind the scenes, attending a wedding, maybe even “zooming” into a friends from afar! This was my smallest intimate wedding yet, with just 4 guests plus the couple. They gathered in NW Portland to say I do, have a picnic, and eat cake. It rained all morning but the skies parted for their special afternoon. It may not have been the New Orleans wedding they had planned for, but it was perfect in its own beautiful way! Congrats Lisa & Dusty 🥂

Went to Mars on a little vacay 👽

The Alvord Desert is SO FREAKING COOL y’all. It legitimately feels like you’re on another planet with endless miles of flat cracked land. You can’t quite explain how amazing it is until you’ve seen it with your own eyes. I’ve never been somewhere as expansive and as creepily quiet. 11/10 recommend.

Just one more place to add to the list to elope in the PNW that is badass af✌️

Me running home as fast as I can from Trader Joe’s to eat everything I just bought 😉

For real though, these babes were so much fun to explore the coast with over the weekend! Butt touches, heavy wind, and lots of laughs. I wore shorts because the weather said 68 degrees - bad bad idea. Do not recommend.

About last night 🌙

I don’t know how.. maybe it’s fate, maybe it’s serendipity, maybe it’s coincidence. But I so often feel like the sweetest people come into my life through photography. “My people” find me. I really deeply feel that.

These two are my people. Caius proposed to Kailey with a puppy (like come on?!) a few months back, they are fellow beach lovers, hikers, and just good down to earth people who aren’t afraid to be silly and have fun.

We had the best night running around the Oregon coast and again, I feel so grateful to have been found by you both, K & C. 💕 @ Cape Kiwanda Beach

Is there anything I love more than hiking up mountains and watching the cotton candy skies appear?!

There’s a lot going on in our world but one thing that remains consistent is love. I had the honor of capturing Emma & Bens intimate wedding on the Oregon Coast last weekend with their closest friends and family. A great example of a couple who made things their own - wearing a non traditional dress, renting an Airbnb, and keeping it casual and fun. Congrats you two!

My schedule is open friends!! Oregon has given the go ahead to photographers already and it looks like Washington is a week or so away from giving the green light! The weather forecast will keep getting better and summer golden hours are straight MAGIC!
I want YOU to know that I have been and will continue to take every precaution I can. I have been completely socially distant, I go shopping every 2 weeks, and am doing everything I can to stay healthy. In addition, during our session I will be maintaining a minimum of 6 feet of distance, wearing a mask, and sanitizing everything.
