Going airborne over waves, towering views of Haystack Rock, and fresh caught seafood. All in a day’s work for Captain Joe Hays of Haystack Fishing and the dory fishermen in Pacific City.

RAPTORS OF THE DESERT SKY

A few months ago we had the amazing opportunity to capture this one-of-a-kind exhibit at the High Desert Museum in Bend. Experiencing what goes on behind the scenes and speaking with the people that makes it all happen gave me a newfound love for these animals we share our state with.

Shooting happened over the course of two days, with about three weeks of pre-production to get the plan in place. Shoutout to the awesome team that made it all possible!
