We have some updates

Dear Customers,

Unforchanetly, due to the ongoing issues in Portland, combined with the economic impacts of COVID-19, we are no longer able to maintain profitability at our Portland Saturday Market Booth in Old Town and have made the difficult decision to resign Mason Photography's membership.

Our online presence will be maintained, and this will not affect the service or continued support to our existing customers. We do hope to attend future events in the Portland area as restrictions start to ease up. We will deliver updates on upcoming showings as they arise.

To substitute the products previously offered at the Portland Saturday Market, we have recently added a full range of matted photographic prints to our website. Custom framing is also available on request, and we are available to answer all questions during regular business hours. Please do note this does mean in-store pickup is no longer a delivery option.

It's Like The Big One, Just... Cheaper

It took a little bit of experimenting to figure out the best paper for the loose prints of my new piece, "Shallow Waters," but I finally settled on the Fuji Maxima High Gloss paper. Because of the deep blacks and dynamic monotone range, this was a perfect fit. My recommendation would be the 18x24" seems to be the ideal size for most small homes and apartments. (It frames to 24x30")

New "Stormy Shallows" Print

In addition to the "Shallow Waters" Print I recently released, there was a second piece from that trip I wanted to share. This piece is something rather colorful and dramatic that I think appears particularly striking in combination with this dark blue wall and a plant to complement the greens in the photograph. I am slowly starting to phase in more digital medium format photos for greater detail and depth in these large prints and hope to make it the norm for my portfolio.

COVID-19 Update

Dear Customer,

Our booth at the Portland Saturday Market has opened back up with the following changes:

• Booths are spread out for social distancing, masks among vendors are required, social distancing enforced, and hand sanitizer for customer use.

• We are open Saturdays ONLY from 10 AM to 5 PM

• In-store pickup is available from our Portland Saturday Market Booth for online or call-in orders. Included is drop off matting, framing, and glazing for existing clients.

New "Shallow Waters" Print

Hello everyone! After several days down the southernmost parts of the Oregon Coast, I am excited to bring back a new piece called "Shallow Waters." It is a dramatic and striking print of the Mary D. Hume. Shipwreck residing in the mouth of Rogue River. I hope you all enjoy it. I am starting by releasing a top end fine art print to the website, followed by lower-cost photographs in the future. We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19

Dear Loyal Customer,

We have made some changes due to COVID-19:

• As many of you know the Portland Saturday Market is closed, I personally have worked with our amazing staff to develop an online marketplace to cultivate sales for all of our amazing vendors. If you would like to browse my work, and the work of other talented artisans, head over to shop.portlansatrudaymarket.com if you are able to please try to support our local artists at this time of uncertainty.

• We have made some online expansions. As usual, you can order our more premium products from the tsmasonphoto.com website. In addition, I have also put up the rest of my work on a platform fulfilled by a local Portland Business called ImageKind. There we have lots of budget-friendly work while maintaining our quality standards and the ability to contact me directly for customer support. • When it comes to sanitization, I regularly ensure the cleanliness of my workspace for the quality of work, in addition, cloth gloves are regularly worn, to begin with. Lead times may be longer due to supply chain issues, but customers will be made aware of any delays and I am working actively to find solutions.
