I’m a photographer based in Portland, OR, and I specialize in photographing weddings, engagements, and portraiture. I’ve been working as a photographer in the creative industry for over a decade. Whether my job is to help influence the use of commercial products, or to capture the love that brought two individuals together, photography has allowed me to follow my passion as an artist, and partner

with others from around the world. From a very young age, art was a means of communication and self expression. Sketching and painting were the first two mediums I started out using, which allowed me to master composition and lighting. I was later introduced to photography by my Grandpa, who gave me his old film camera. I went on to attend Brooks Institute where I earn my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013. Capturing moments in wedding photography and fine art portraiture holds a timeless significance, their emotional resonance enduring across generations, unlike fleeting fashion trends. The longevity and emotional depth of these images inspire my passion, as I strive to preserve cherished memories that last lifetimes, imbued with heartfelt meaning.

My 2026 wedding season officially begins this weekend. 🤍

Every year, I’m reminded that the photos couples end up cherishing most are rarely just the “perfect” portraits. They’re the hugs that linger a little longer, the uncontrollable laughter during speeches, the tears your parents try to hide, the chaos on the dance floor, and the quiet moments in between everything else.

As excited as I am to create beautiful imagery for my couples this year, I’m even more excited to help preserve the feeling of it all — the energy, the tenderness, the people in the room, and the moments that become more meaningful with time.

Here’s to another season of documenting love honestly, artistically, and as it truly felt. ✨

Playing catch up on social media and kicking things off with Sam & Vivian’s ‘City of Roses’ engagement session. To honor Vivian’s Chinese heritage, we chose Old Town Chinatown and Lan Su Chinese Garden as their photo shoot location. It was so refreshing to photograph against different textures and environments—each one adding something unique to their story. Sam & Vivian’s playful love and energy were the thread that tied it all together. We even got a chance to enjoy the cherry blossoms at peak bloom. I can’t wait for their wedding day next year!

Zac & Alex mentioned three spots/activities they wanted to highlight: cocktails at Holy Ghost Bar, thrifting at Memory Den PDX, and enjoying the view of the Portland cityscape.
